It seemed like the best way to let you know about us was to answer a couple of simple questions:
Why Make Fat-Free Games?
We've been making games for cell phones for years now, but due to various limits in the devices and service plans, we've never been able to make the games we wanted to make.
When the iPhone was released, we realized that the perfect platform had finally been released that would allow us to create those games and Fat-Free Games was born.
What Kind of Games do You Make?
Our goal is to make games that are fun to play by yourself, but also connect you to a larger community that helps increase the enjoyment of the games. To start off with, that meant integrating chat into all our games, storing profiles for our users, and putting together Top Player lists so people could see how they compare to others.
Of course that's just the beginning. Our future games are going to include things like multi-player and user generated levels that you can share with others. We'll also be expanding the user profiles to allow for additional customization and other cool stuff.
Who is Behind Fat-Free Games?
There are two of us that drive the primary creation of the site and the games, and of course we have some additional contractors that we work with for specific tasks. Here's a bit more about us ...

In addition to doing all the "fun" stuff that it takes to keep a company running, Tom does most of the planning and game design for Fat-Free Games, and tosses a bit of code in as well from time to time!

Ryan Murphy
Senior Engineer

Ryan is a kick-butt engineer who heads up the design and coding of the servers, develops our client side framework for chat and game integration, busts out with great game code, and leaps tall buildings in a single bound.
